Impact report · funding
£7,000 turned into 2,625 meals
In March 2025, Birmingham City Council’s Warm Welcome Spaces funding helped us open our doors wider than ever, at a time when energy bills and food costs were hitting local families hardest.

Where the funding went
Tracked against every service we offer
Every pound of Birmingham City Council’s funding was tracked against a specific service, from food boxes to volunteer coordination, so we could show exactly where community support goes.
We also asked people what brought them through the door. Energy costs (45%) and food insecurity (35%) were by far the two biggest reasons, followed by social isolation (15%).
